The pic was based on a reference photo I took a few days ago. It is Autumn here so I tried to capture the bright but cooling Autumn light. I was sitting on my own bicycle at the time so neither of the bikes featured are mine (sorry jokken).
I used a dip pen and ink for the linework and coloured the image fairly quickly with vector art textured by a greyscale cement photo set to Soft Light. The colour scheme was based on a ColourLovers palette by 'normaltrouble'- http://www.colourlovers.com/palette/962763/092009-3
